We read every message and usually reply within a few working days. Please don’t send photos or personal details; we can’t see anything you log in the app, so a short description of what happened is enough.

Common questions

I bought Twiddle Plus on another phone, or reinstalled the app.
Open the You tab and choose Restore purchases (it’s also on the Twiddle Plus screen). Use the same Apple ID you bought with.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Twiddle Plus → Cancel Subscription. If you have a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. We can’t cancel or refund for you, but you can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. In the EU you can also withdraw from a purchase within 14 days through Apple, under Apple’s terms.

I’ve lost my entries or changed phone.
Everything you log stays on your phone, so we can’t restore it. If you use iCloud Backup, restoring your new phone from that backup brings it back. You can also keep a copy any time with You → Your data → Export my data.

How do I delete my data?
You → Your data → Delete everything erases all entries, photos and settings from the app. Deleting the app does the same. We never receive your entries, so there’s nothing of those to delete on our side. To have purchase records or your “how did you hear” answer removed, write to us; the Privacy Policy has the details.

Reminders aren’t arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Twiddle in iPhone Settings → Notifications, that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t on, and that reminders are switched on under You → Reminders & nudges.

Is Twiddle a medical app?
No. Twiddle is a self-help tool. It doesn’t diagnose or treat any condition, and it works alongside a professional, not instead of one. If a habit is causing wounds or infections, or is taking up a lot of your day, please talk to a doctor, pharmacist, dentist or a therapist who knows body-focused repetitive behaviours. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call your local emergency number or find a free helpline at findahelpline.com.
